Pantoufles Garneau Becomes Atelier Garneau | Same company since 1977.
Looking for Garneau Slippers?
You're not alone! Many of our longtime customers still know us by that name—and that's perfectly okay. If that's what you searched for, you've come to the right place.
While we've recently changed our name to Atelier Garneau, everything you love about us remains the same. We know the transition can be a little confusing, especially if you've known us for years as Garneau Slippers or are looking for our iconic sheepskin slippers, proudly handcrafted in Quebec.
Our name may be new, but our craftsmanship, quality, and commitment to comfort haven't changed one bit. The same family business, the same skilled artisans, and the same slippers you've trusted for generations are still here—just under a new name.
Yes—Atelier Garneau and Garneau Slippers are one and the same.
It's the same company, the same dedicated team, and the same workshop in Quebec's Eastern Townships, where every pair is handcrafted with the same time-honored expertise.
Most importantly, you'll still find the same sheepskin slippers you've loved and trusted for nearly 50 years.
Why did Garneau Slippers become Atelier Garneau?
Over the years, our company has grown and evolved.
While our handcrafted sheepskin slippers remain at the heart of everything we do, we've expanded our collection to offer even more ways to bring comfort into your everyday life.
Today, in addition to our iconic slippers, you'll find a thoughtfully curated selection of cozy essentials, including sheepskins, insoles, socks, throws, pajamas, sheepskin mittens, and other comfort-focused accessories.
Our new name, Atelier Garneau, better reflects everything we create—while staying true to the craftsmanship and quality that have defined us from the very beginning.
The name Atelier Garneau better reflects who we are today—a family-owned Quebec workshop dedicated to creating timeless, comfortable, and thoughtfully crafted products.
The word "Atelier" also highlights the artisanal nature of our work, a core part of our identity since the company was founded in 1977. Every product we make is rooted in the same tradition of craftsmanship, quality, and care that has defined us from the very beginning.
The Same Garneau Slippers. The Same Uncompromising Quality.
While our name has changed, our mission remains exactly the same: to craft premium sheepskin slippers using the finest materials and time-honored techniques passed down from generation to generation.
Every pair is still made with the same dedication to comfort, durability, and exceptional craftsmanship that has been at the heart of our family business for nearly 50 years.
Our most beloved styles are still here: Mules, Mule Heads, Lazybones, Reversed Booties, Shin Huggers, and many other comfort essentials.
Our artisans continue to craft every pair with the same attention to detail, right in our workshop in Quebec’s Eastern Townships.
Thank you for being part of our story
For nearly 50 years, our creations have been part of everyday life for families here at home—busy mornings, quiet evenings, weekends at the cottage, and all those small moments of comfort in between.
Whether you still know us as Garneau Slippers or now as Atelier Garneau, one thing remains true: we are still the same passionate Quebec company, crafting your slippers with care and heart, right here in Quebec, Canada.
Thank you for continuing to be part of our extended family.
